What I've
Learned with Kids Creating Comfort
In Kids Creating
Comfort I've learned to talk to important people like Oprah
Winfrey's editor and Big Bob of Big Bob's New and Used Carpet with
confidence. Go up to strangers in the street and ask for donations.
Be a business man by calling big businesses and asking for donations
or publicity like the Oprah magazine. I've learned how to make
sacrifices to help other people I don't know. Be caring
for other people without being selfish. I've also learned
to be more confident in what I do. It helps to be
confident in whatever you do. Before Kids Creating Comfort I did not
make a lot of sacrifices at all or act unselfish. I've learned how
to be more generous to other people.
So what I'm saying
is I've learned to not just be nice to family and friends. I've
learned to be nice, unselfish and sacrifice for less fortunate
people. I've learned to talk to newspapers and do interviews with
and answer their questions as they come. Tell people what we do
without help from our mom. I've learned to be a better person with
better business skills during our Kids Creating Comfort Project.
